...Finally...

Ever since we have moved to Kentucky Matt has been trying to get into a good police department.  He has worked as an officer for a small town out here, but he wanted a job where we would be able to take on more responsibility and see more action.  He had an interview last Wednesday at a bigger police department last Wednesday and has officially received word today that he got the job.  Thank God!  I am so happy for him because I know this is something that he really wanted.  Now that we have gotten the official word it is time to start thinking about moving.  I have been wanting to move out our little place for awhile now.  This opportunity could not have come at a better time.  As excited as I am about the prospects of moving, I am not looking forward to the process of trying to find a new place.  Its hard to decide between renting an apartment or renting a house.  Both have their positives and negatives.  I'm gonna have to force myself to remain patient and research all of my options, rather then getting in rush to move and settle into a place.  I know the Lord will find something great for us.

I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing more frustrating than not being able to find something you are looking for.  I cannot find any glass bell jars anywhere!  I understand that nowadays you can just hop on the Internet and order these things, but the shipping and handling in itself is always ridiculous.  I just wish I could find these things the old school way, going to a store nearby and purchasing them.  Since I live in 'middle of nowhere,' Kentucky I would assume there would be a ton of little antique shops...BUT NO! So I guess my search will continue until that one fateful day when I will stumble upon these little beauties. (Hopefully at an amazing price)
